The Green Organic Dutchman Ships South Africa’s First Legal Cannabis Flower

“We are confident that our in-country partner will continue to develop this nascent market and that TGOD’s portfolio of products will be well received by patients that have previously lacked access to legal, high-quality medical cannabis,” said the company’s CEO Sean Bovingdon.

The company was able to ship its products to the African country after securing the approval of the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority. Bovingdon added that this maiden international shipment sets the base for its commercial entry into the international cannabis market in 2022.

The Ontario-based cannabis firm recently reported unaudited preliminary gross revenue of $11.7 million for the second quarter of 2021.

The Green Organic Dutchman last traded at $0.30 on the TSX.
