Tesla Posts Q3 Vehicle Deliveries Of 462,890, Falls Short Of Analyst Estimates
Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) this morning reported its third quarter production and delivery results, with the electric automaker indicating it produced a total of 469,796 vehicles in the third quarter, and delivered 462,890.
Vehicles produced amounted to 443,668 Model 3/Y vehicles, and a further 26,128 vehicles classified under “other models.” Analysts had predicted combined production of 465,828 vehicles, versus the actual 469,796.
Vehicles delivered meanwhile amounted to 439,975 Model 3/Y’s, and 22,915 other models. Analysts had called for total deliveries of 463,897 vehicles, versus the actual 462,890.
The company is expected to post full financial results on October 23, after the markets close.
Tesla last traded at $258.02 on the Nasdaq.
