Aya Gold & Silver Drills 3,794 g/t Silver Over 10 Metres At Zgounder
Aya Gold & Silver (TSX: AYA) has encountered high grade mineralization as it continues to explore its Zgounder Silver Mine in Morocco. The company this morning released several assay results from recent drilling that continues to intersect strong silver grades.
Highlights from the results include:
- DZG-SF-24-228: 3,794 g/t silver over 10.0 metres from a depth of 6.0 metres from the 2,000 metre level
- ZG-RC-24-232: 1,054 g/t silver over 11.0 metres from a depth of 0.0 metres from surface

- ZG-SF-24-209: 1,756 g/t silver over 4.5 metres from a depth of 299.0 metres from underground
Results released this morning are said to confirm the presence of another high grade zone to the west of current operations by a fault line, which provides further room for expansion of mining operations. High grade mineralization was also identified to the east of the open pit, which is said to support the expansion of the current operation.
Aya this morning released assay results from a total of 490 drill holes, which includes 27 surface diamond drill holes, 192 underground diamond drill holes, 198 reverse circulation holes, 37 T28 holes and 36 YAK drill holes. Two underground drill rigs and one RC rig is currently active on site.
Aya Gold & Silver last traded at $12.91 on the TSX.
