Datametrex Enters Second Round Of Process For Potential $40 Million Contract

It appears that Datametrex AI (TSXV: DM) is well on its way to potentially being awarded a major contract in Canada. The company this morning revealed it is currently in the process of bidding on an artificial contract in Canada, the value of which has been pegged at $40.0 million.

Details on the potential contract were rather thin, however the company indicated that it is bidding on the contract via the Request For Proposal, or RFP, process. The firm has reportedly entered the second round of the bidding process on the contract, with the company now being scrutinized for the bid.

The company however was clear that its bid remains subject to meeting all the criteria required for the process, on both a technical merit as well as the firms ability to deliver the contract based on the outlined procedures and deadlines within the RFP.

“Canada is an important market for the Company’s AI business and we are pleased to enter into this bidding process on this contract supporting expansion of artificial intelligence in Canada while continuing our global roll-out activities and the introduction of even further technologically advanced Ai to the market.”

Marshall Gunter, CEO

It is currently unclear specifically what field the proposal relates to, or whom the RFP was issued by, whether governmental or private in nature.

Datametrex AI last traded at $0.18 on the TSX Venture.
