Eldorado Gold (TSX: ELD) has achieved the upper end of their production guidance for 2025, with the company on Wednesday evening posting preliminary results for the fourth quarter and full year 2025.
Production in the fourth quarter totaled 123,418 ounces of gold. The Lamaque Complex was the leading asset in the portfolio again in Q4, producing 49,307 ounces of gold, followed by Kisladag at 41,141 ounces. Efemcukuru and Olympias meanwhile produced 14,497 and 18,473 ounces in the fourth quarter, respectively.
For the full year, total gold production hit 488,268 ounces, which was near the upper end of the 470,000 to 490,000 ounce guidance range previously provided by Eldorado. Lamaque again was the big producer within Eldorado’s portfolio, with 187,208 ounces of gold production in 2025. Kisladag meanwhile produced 168,701 ounces, followed by Efemcukuru at 72,482 ounces and Olympias at 59,877 ounces.
Looking to 2026, Eldorado’s current three year operating outlook is forecasting gold production of 605,000 to 665,000 ounces of gold, and 45 to 60 million pounds of copper. The expansion of gold production and the addition of copper is a result of Skouries expected to become operational, with 135,000 to 155,000 ounces of gold production expected from the mine this year.
Eldorado said separately this morning that Skouries is expected to begin the first production of copper-gold concentrate by the end of Q1 2026, with commercial production expected in mid 2026.
Full guidance for 2026 is currently expected to be released on February 19, in conjunction with the release of Eldorado’s Q4 financial results.
Eldorado Gold last traded at $59.32 on the TSX.
