Fyre Fest’s Billy McFarland Is Looking For Someone To Give Him $100K And A Summer House
Post-prison Billy McFarland is very eager to launch what he’s been calling his “PYRT ship.”
After recently going on TikTok to announce that the Broadway musical that he’s calling “Fyre Festival 1.5” is happening, and that he is “in talks with partners” to pay back the $26 million he owes in restitution and to “execute Fyre Festival 2 according to the original vision,” McFarland is now looking for “3 more brands” to take up room in his “PYRT ship.”
Specifically, the convicted fraudster on the look out for brands that can pay a $100,000 retainer minimum, and provide a summer house for McFarland and his team — with a dock for his jet skis of course, and a direct line to the CEO.
If McFarland sounds unhinged and delusional in his post, it’s because you haven’t forgotten that he was sentenced to serve six years in prison (served four, and was released in March last year) for two counts of wire fraud and ordered to pay $26 million back to the investors of the failed festival.
McFarland has yet to prove that any of his recent claims are true. It’s all been hot air (or out-of-breath announcements) for now.
