GoGold Drills 33.6 Metres Of 164.4 G/T Silver Equivalent At Los Ricos North

GoGold Resources Inc. (TSX: GGD) reported this morning the latest drill results from the Casados deposit in the Los Ricos North project. The results, coming from 8 new drill holes, included hitting 1,213 g/t silver equivalent over 1.9 metres within a larger interval of 164.4 g/t silver equivalent over 33.6 metres.

Highlight intersections from the results include:

  • LRGCS-21-043: 279.2 g/t silver equivalent (0.12 g/t gold, 270.1 g/t silver) over 0.9 metres, and 164.4 g/t silver equivalent (0.43 g/t gold, 132.5 g/t silver) over 33.6 metres, including
    • 335.9 g/t silver equivalent (0.88 g/t gold, 269.8 g/t silver) over 15.3 metres
  • LRGCS-21-037: 350.7 g/t silver equivalent (0.85 g/t gold, 287.3 g/t silver) over 0.6 metres
  • LRGCS-21-044: 123.7 g/t silver equivalent (0.31 g/t gold, 100.3 g/t silver) over 19.9 metres

In April 2021, GoGold also reported intersects from the preceding 8 drill holes at the same site, hitting a highlight intercept of 1,320 g/t silver equivalent over 1.5 metres.

The company also shared that it has initiated drilling at the El Nayar target within the Los Ricos North district. With two drill rigs in place, GoGold aims to confirm the mapping and sampling program results and establish the geometry and widths of the mineralized zones at the target.

As it has previously shared, the firm plans to drill 10 out of the 100 targets its exploration team has identified on Los Ricos North as part of its 2021 drilling programs.
