Golden Cariboo Resources (CSE: GCC) continues to intersect gold mineralization within the Halo zone at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in British Columbia. The latest results have seen mineralization begin at bedrock surface.
Highlights from the latest results include:
- QGQ24-12: 0.74 g/t gold over 61.49 metres from a depth of 8.00 metres
- Including 1.02 g/t gold over 37.00 metres from a depth of 8.00 metres
- And including 2.09 g/t gold over 16.20 metres from a depth of 20.22 metres
Several additional zones were also intersected at depth within quartz-carbonate veining, suggesting the potential for scale of the system. The current mineralized zone covers a footprint measuring 390 metres by 290 metres by 320 metres and remains open along strike and towards depth.

700 metres of strike remains untested to the north-northwest in the direction of the past producing Pioneer mine, while 750 metres also remains untested to the south-southeast towards the Main zone target at the past producing Quesnelle Quartz Mine.
“We’re very pleased to report results from QGQ24-12, which once more underlines the significance of the Halo zone. As the old miner’s adage goes, ‘You drill for structure and drift for grade’ – and this hole exemplifies that perfectly. QGQ24-12 intersected multiple alteration zones that have since yielded improved grades in subsequent drilling, validating our exploration strategy,” commented Frank Callaghan, CEO of Golden Cariboo.
Golden Cariboo Resources last traded at $0.095 on the CSE.
