New Found Gold Assays 63.7 G/T Gold Over 8.45 Metres

New Found Gold (TSXV: NFG) reported additional assay results from its flagship Keats Zone at the Queensway project in Newfoundland. A total of four holes were reported this morning from the ongoing drill program.

Drill results come from an ongoing 200,000 metre program being conducted on the property. Drill results released this morning extended the high grade zone at Keats to 350 metres down plunge, while also expanding near surface mineralization on the northern end of the zone.

Results released this morning include:

  • NFGC-21-143: 63.71 g/t gold over 8.45 metres, 16.93 g/t gold over 2.50 metres
  • NFGC-21-123: 8.41 g/t gold over 2.50 metres
  • NFGC-21-113: 2.52 g/t gold over 2.55 metres
  • NFGC-21-111: 1.48 g/t gold over 9.20 metres

Two drills are reportedly continuing drilling in the direction of the south plunging dilation zone, where drilling has been defined by 350 metres down plunge via hole NFGC-21-143. The company is also reportedly working on infill drilling within the larger Keats Baseline fault zone.

New Found Gold last traded at $6.20 on the TSX Venture.
