NexGen Energy (TSX: NXE) released the final batch of 2025 assay results from its Patterson Corridor East discovery on Wednesday, with several intercepts strengthening the case that the deposit shares meaningful geological characteristics with the company’s flagship Arrow project located 3.5 kilometres away.
Highlights from the latest results include:
- RK-25-239: 13.0 metres at 5.2% U3O8 from a depth of 433 metres,
- Including 0.5 metres at 30.2% U3O8
- RK-25-240: 10.0 metres at 3.95% U3O8 from a depth of 683.5 metres,
- Including 0.5 metres at 33.3% U3O8
- RK-25-230: 7.5 metres at 5.3% U3O8 from a depth of 492.5 metres,
- Including 0.5 metres at 35.9% U3O8
- RK-25-233: 6.0 metres at 2.4% U3O8 from a depth of 576 metres,
- Including 0.5 metres at 23.4% U3O8
- RK-25-236: 5.5 metres at 2.3% U3O8 from a depth of 465 metres,
- Including 0.5 metres at 13.3% U3O8
- RK-25-257: 4.5 metres at 4.8% U3O8 from a depth of 948 metres,
- Including 0.5 metres at 33.3% U3O8
The standout was hole RK-25-239, which returned 13.0 metres at 5.2% U3O8, including a half-metre interval grading 30.2% U3O8. The hole confirms the expansion of the growing high-grade subdomain roughly 33 metres up-dip of RK-25-232, which previously returned 15.0 metres at 15.9% U3O8.
A second hole, RK-25-240, hit 10.0 metres at 3.95% U3O8 some 670 metres below surface, suggesting the mineralized system remains open at depth. Collectively, the results are said to have confirmed a core zone within the high-grade subdomain that remains open in most directions.

Hole RK-25-257 notably confirms a new secondary high-grade subdomain that NexGen says remains open in most directions, opening another potential growth vector at the discovery.

“These assay results from 2025 drilling confirm high-grade mineralization and the expanding scale of PCE. The combination of high-grades, continuity, scale and geotechnical characteristics continue to highlight the similarities between PCE and the mighty Arrow Deposit. The opening up of a new high-grade subdomain emphasizes significant growth potential remains at PCE,” said Chief Executive Officer Leigh Curyer.
The results follow an April 22 update in which NexGen reported that the vertical extent of the high-grade subdomain had expanded by 33% to 550 metres during the 2026 winter drill program, with a strike length of 210 metres. Of 115 drill holes targeting PCE since discovery, 79 have intersected mineralization, including 54 with high-grade and 21 with off-scale readings.
The company plans to resume drilling the week of May 25 as part of a 42,000 metre 2026 campaign, with the Rook I Project entering major construction this summer.
NexGen Energy last traded at $17.57 on the TSX.
