Q2 Metals Hits 1.69% Li2O Over 215.6 Metres At Cisco

Q2 Metals Corp (TSXV: QTWO) is reporting that it is the latest company to make a lithium discovery in the James Bay region of Quebec. The discovery follows the firm conducting an inaugural drill campaign at its Cisco property.

Highlights from the results include:

  • CS-24-011: 1.17% Li2O over 81.8 metres from a depth of 125.6 metres
  • CS-24-013: 1.18% Li2O over 59.5 metres from a depth of 136.6 metres
  • CS-24-014: 1.38% Li2O over 20.8 metres from a depth of 36.6 metres
  • CS-24-018: 1.69% Li2O over 215.6 metres from a depth of 202.5 metres, including 2.29% Li2O over 64.6 metres

The drill program itself amounted to 17 holes conducted over an aggregate 6,359 metres. Results released this morning consisted of seven holes, with results from six holes still outstanding. The area of interest at the property is said to consist of a 1.9 kilometre by 1.5 kilometre area, with the Cisco property containing at least 23 known spodumene pegmatite zones.

“These assays continue to validate the potential and scale of the Cisco Property as that of a larger mineralized system. One important observation of these results is the higher-grade nature of the larger mineralized system as we test and track the system progressing to the south,” commented Neil McCallum, VP of Exploration for Q2.

Q2 Metals last traded at $0.76 on the TSX Venture.
