Riot Blockchain Mines 406 Bitcoin In September 2021
Riot Blockchain, Inc. (Nasdaq: RIOT) reported on Tuesday its production updates for September 2021. The results highlighted mining 406 bitcoin over the course of the month, a 346% increase over its September 2020 production of 91 bitcoin.

To date, the company has produced a total of 2,457 bitcoin compared to its production for the same nine-month period last year of 731 bitcoin. It currently holds 3,534 self-mined bitcoin as of September 30, 2021, which holds a value of US$186.5 million as of this writing.
The blockchain firm is expecting its shipment of 2,000 S19J Pro Antminers will be deployed at its Whinstone facility. This will augment the firm’s mining machines to a total of 27,646 Antminers, pushing the estimated hashrate to 2.8 EH/s.
Assuming that the approximately 81,150 Antminers acquired from Bitmain will be deployed in full, the firm expects a self-mining total hashrate capacity of 7.7 EH/s by Q4 2022.
Riot Blockchain last traded at US$26.34 on the Nasdaq.
