Sitka Gold Hits 4.52 g/t Gold Over 45.0 Metres Within 352.8 Metres Of 1.55 g/t Gold

Sitka Gold (TSXV: SIG) has released one of its strongest drill holes to date at its RC Gold project in the Yukon. Results from a single hole were released this morning, which was said to have over 130 instances of visible gold contained within the core.

Highlights from the results include:

  • DDRCCC-25-075: 1.55 g/t gold over 352.8 metres from a depth of 341.5 metres
    • Including 3.27 g/t gold over 108.9 metres from a depth of 501.4 metres
    • Including 4.52 g/t gold over 45.0 metres from a depth of 539.4 metres

Referred to as “Hole 75”, the drill hole is the first diamond drill hole conducted as part of a 30,000 metre drill campaign being conducted this year. The hole was drilled at the BlackJack zone, where the hole represents the best intersect conducted to date. The assays extend the high grade gold zone that was discovered last year, when hole DDRCCC-24-068 drill tested 2.57 g/t gold over 93.0 metres from a depth of 589.5 metres.

The assay results are said to suggest the potential for underground mining, with the mineralization found below a pit-constrained resource of 1.29 million ounces of indicated gold at 1.01 g/t and 1.04 million ounces of inferred gold at 0.94 g/t.

“Hole 75 continues to highlight the quality of the gold system present at the Blackjack deposit while greatly expanding the higher-grade gold zone discovered at depth late last year in Hole 68 which remains open both laterally and to depth. The increasing gold values we are seeing at depth appear to have the grades and continuity required for a possible underground extraction scenario below the current pit constrained resources at Blackjack and suggest that we could be getting closer to the source of the Blackjack gold deposit as we drill deeper into the system,” commented Cor Coe, CEO of Sitka Gold, on the results.

Sitka Gold last traded at $0.62 on the TSX Venture.
