New Found Gold Sees Kettell Exit Board With Appointment Of Chad Williams

New Found Gold (TSX: NFG) has seen its founder and former CEO, Collin Kettell, leave the company’s board of directors. A reason for his departure was not provided.

Taking Kettell’s place on the board is that of Chad Williams, the Chairman and Founder of Red Cloud Mining Capital. Williams previously led Victoria Gold and served as head of mining investment banking at Blackmont Capital.

The change follows COO Greg Matheson stepping away from the company effective February 28, while Ron Hampton, chief development officer for New Found Gold stepped down on February 18. Kettell meanwhile was replaced in his role as CEO on January 20, with the appointment of Keith Boyle, former COO of Reunion Gold, to the post of chief executive of New Found Gold.
