WonderFi Tech Replaces Chief Financial Officer

WonderFi Technologies (NEO: WNDR) is replacing its chief financial officer. The firm this morning announced that current CFO Steven Krause will be transitioning to an advisory role with the company as of February 22.

Taking on the role going forward will be that of John Rim, whom previously served as the chief financial officer of Bitfarms Ltd (TSXV: BITF), another name within the Canadian crypto landscape. Rim was the first CFO of the company, assisting in the go-public transaction on the TSX Venture.

In terms of education, Rim holds an Honours BBA from the Royal Military College of Canada, and currently holds a Certified Professional Accountant designation.

Krause held the role of CFO with the company since August 30, 2021. It appears that his departure with the company is to make way for an executive with a more active role in the firms day to day operations.

“John’s background and experience in finance leadership and capital markets, as well as in the crypto industry, will be invaluable to WonderFi as we continue to grow the Company,” commented Ben Samaroo, CEO of WonderFi on Rim’s appointment.

WonderFi Tech last traded at $1.37 on the Neo.
