Bitboy Crypto Is Getting Divorced, Tags Both Wife And Mistress In Post

Ben Armstrong, formerly recognized as BitBoy, took to X (fka Twitter) to announce his divorce, addressing both his wife and mistress in the post.

“Sad to tell you all that @Bethanyliterary and I are getting a divorce. She filed divorce papers to me today,” Armstrong posted. “To get it out of the way so there are no questions, yes, I am with @DuchessOfDeFi.”

Armstrong praised his wife, Bethany Armstrong, acknowledging how she “helped [him] build [his] business.”

“I’m not proud of what led us here by any stretch of the imagination. I let my family down,” he added. “And I’m sorry to Bethany and my kids over my mistake.”

He added that he also wants for his “personal life to be less in the public.”

Despite his intention to keep his personal affairs more discreet, Armstrong also revealed that “Cassie” will be on his “[YouTube] channel and around more and more.”

These developments follow a tumultuous period for the YouTuber-turned-crypto-influencer. Armstrong faced a series of setbacks, including a headline-grabbing incident where he was apprehended outside a former business partner’s residence while accompanied by his mistress.

During the arrest, when the police asked about who’s in the truck with him, Armstrong reluctantly admitted that his BitBoy Crypto co-founder and alleged mistress, Cassie Wolfe, was in the vehicle. He also immediately clarified that his wife knows where he is and what he’s doing.

Armstrong ended up spending roughly eight hours in a county jail. In connection with his arrest, Armstrong was charged with loitering and “simple assault by placing another in fear” by the Gwinnett County Police. Each charge came with a $1,300 bond.

These follow a series of unfortunate events for Armstrong, starting with him relinquishing control of his YouTube channel, a platform he helped create, and making an ill-fated investment in the $BEN coin.

Compounding his challenges, Armstrong accepted over $80,000 in donations from his supporters, necessitated by his decision to part with his Lamborghini. With the impending divorce proceedings, following such a conspicuous and public announcement, it’s likely that Armstrong, who previously implied he had lost everything to his former employer, Hit Network, will face substantial financial adjustments.
