CloudMD Taps 19 More Post-Secondary Institutions For Mental Health Support Program

CloudMD Software & Services Inc. (TSXV: DOC) announced today the partnership with 19 post-secondary institutions across Canada to provide mental health support resources through its Aspiria Student Assistance Program. The move adds over 167,000 new students to the firm’s framework of mental health program.

“We are proud to partner with these schools to support students with our mental health programs that enable choice and provide the care they need at a critical time in their lives,” said CloudMD President Karen Adams. “One of the key differentiators our platform offers is the initial clinical assessment allowing for triaging and treatment plans using nurse navigators.”

The healthcare firm is onboarding colleges and universities with ranging class sizes between 200 and 48,000 students. Through its mental health provider, Aspiria Student Assistance Program, the company aims to provide additional resources to support the increased demand for mental health programs for younger individuals.

The recent partnership brings the company’s network to 141 K-12 and post-secondary institutions. The program collaborates with on-campus health centers to provide additional mental health resources including initial clinical assessment and triage process. The service is also accessible 24/7 for students via in-person, by phone, web, and mobile chat/text.
