EnerDynamic Develops Additional Sales Channel For Solar Arrays

EnerDynamic Hybrid Technologies (TSXV: EHT) continues to find novel uses for its solar power tech to broaden its sales channels. The company this morning announced that it has engaged with Pride Signs to develop what is referred to as off-grid illuminated signage.

The arrangement will see EnerDynamic’s solar power tech and products integrated with Pride’s illuminated exterior signage. The result of which, is electrified signs that are able to be placed anywhere the sun shines to enable their use, and thereby eliminating the need for utility power for such signage.

The duo is reportedly already working to complete an initial purchase order for a project in the US, where such products will be implemented.

While it might seem rather immaterial in the scheme of things, the exterior signage industry is growing at a rate of 6% per year, and represents another avenue of potential sales for the company. With the current US administration placing a heavy emphasis on solar and green power, the implementation of such tech will be required on numerous everyday products to meet future potential green initiatives, of which solar-powered signage, or the previously announced arrangement to install solar arrays on telecommunications towers, are two such examples.

EnerDynamic Hybrid Technologies last traded at $0.52 on the TSX Venture.
