Kirkland Lake Gold Drills 17.0 Metres Of 7.19 G/T Gold At Detour Lake

Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. (TSX: KL) reported today the results from 43 holes drilled at the Detour Lake property. Gold intersections highlighted 7.19 g/t gold over 17.0 metres.

These assays are the sixth batch of results from the 270,000-metre exploration program at the property targeted to be completed by the end of 2021. The program is intended to update and expand the mineral resource estimate and support the company’s production plan on the site.

Highlight intersects from the drilling program include:

  • DLM-21-137: 7.19 g/t gold over 17.0 metres, including
    • 32.80 g/t gold over 3.2 metres
  • DLM-21-160: 12.70 g/t gold over 10.0 metres
  • DLM-21-203: 7.39 g/t gold over 10.0 metres
  • DLM-21-191A: 6.00 g/t gold over 14.0 metres, including
    • 25.02 g/t gold over 3.0 metres

These assays mostly came from what is called the Saddle Zone located between the site’s Main Pit and West Pit zones. The exploration program continues with 12 surface drills still in operation and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
