Fourth quarter earnings are now steadily rolling in from the small scale producers out there, and well, in this environment, it seems most are making money.
Then again, it’s kind of hard not to when the price of gold is consistently hitting new all time highs.
Mako Mining (TSXV: MKO) is the latest to report results, and as we’ve seen before, this gold environment can easily mask results that were less than perfect. Despite fewer gold ounces sold in the fourth quarter, revenue has hit new records off the back of a gold price that just won’t quit.
