Omai Gold Intersects 5.21 g/t Gold Over 19.3 Metres In Final Assays From 2024 Program
Omai Gold Mines (TSXV: OMG) has released its final assay results from the 2024 drill program conducted at its Wenot deposit. The program as a whole saw 13,716 metres of drilling across 26 holes in aggregate.
Highlights from the results include:
- 24ODD-093: 2.51 g/t gold over 4.9 metres from a depth of 318.9 metres, and 1.89 g/t gold over 6.7 metres from a depth of 130.1 metres
- 24ODD-096: 1.31 g/t gold over 22.0 metres from a depth of 305.0 metres, and 0.98 g/t gold over 26.2 metres from a depth of 568.5 metres
- 24ODD-097: 5.21 g/t gold over 19.3 metres from a depth of 382.4 metres, including 11.44 g/t gold over 4.6 metres
“The balance of results from the last three drill holes from 2024 mark a strong finish to last year’s drill program. In particular, hole 97 intersected high-grade gold mineralization of 5.21 g/t Au over 19.3m – showing increased grade over nearby hole 90 that was drilled from the north side,” commented Elain Ellingham, CEO of Omai.

The program as a whole is said to have successfully expanded the extent of known mineralization down to 400 to 450 metres, while identifying mineralization in wide undrilled areas that existed within the 2.5 kilometre strike length of the Wenot deposit.
Looking to 2025, Omai intends to drill an initial 10,000 metres, with drilling having already started back in January. 8 holes across 4,880 metres in aggregate have been drilled under the currently underway program. The drill program is expected to lead to an updated resource estimate in the second quarter of this year, and an updated PEA that is slated for Q3.
Omai Gold Mines last traded at $0.34 on the TSX Venture.
