PowerBand Solutions (TSXV: PBX) this morning announced the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer. Shibu Abraham, CPA, will be taking on the role effective immediately.
Abraham reportedly has twenty five years of accounting and financial management experience, having worked in both public and private settings. Most recently the CFO of a fintech operation where he restructured the firms international M&A and expansion efforts, Abraham is stated to have deep functional expertise and technical knowledge in corporate finance, financial planning, and accounting.
Abraham currently holds a chartered accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, along with a CPA from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
