Today’s focus of The Deep Dive Spotlight Series is Julia Frank, from Vegaste Technologies (CSE: VEGA). The firm is a new listing on the CSE focused on building a digital platform for the plant-based community. PlantX, Vegaste’s e-commerce platform, is a one-stop-shop for everything plant-based with plans to offer customers across North America more than 3,000 plant-based products by the end of August.
In addition to offering plant based meals, the company currently has plans underway to expand its product lines to include cosmetics, vitamins, clothing, and its own water brand. At the Dive, we have a fascination with the Plant Based space given the recent success of companies such as Modern Meat (CSE: MEAT) and Else Nutrition (CSE: BABY). Both of which are currently trading nearly 100x sales at this stage in their life cycle.
PlantX was founded by Sean Dollinger; during his time with Namaste the cannabis digital platform reached over a $1 billion dollar market cap. We expect PlantX to be one of the most talked about companies on the CSE this fall.
