F3 Uranium Reports Early Discovery At Broach Property

F3 Uranium (TSXV: FUU) is reporting that a new discovery made has been made at its Broach Lake property, which is found contiguous to its flagship Patterson Lake North property, and is considered to be part of the PLN Project.

The discovery follows drilling that occurred 12 kilometres to the south of the JR Zone, in a region referred to as the PW Area. Highlights from the results include:

  • PLN25-205:
    • 0.5 metres of 340 cps from a depth of 340.0 metres
    • 0.5 metres of 440 cps from a depth of 347.5 metres
    • 0.5 metres of 370 cps from a depth of 366.0 metres
    • 8.0 metres of radioactivity, peaking at 2,500 cps from a depth of 373.0 metres
    • 23.5 metres of radioactivity, peaking at 37,700 cps from a depth of 384.0 metres

The hole is said to have a total of 33.0 metres of radioactivity, with full assay results not yet available, with the results instead based on a handheld spectrometer, as if common for initial assay results from uranium explorers. Hole PLN25-205 is said to have intercepted the radioactivity within the Clearwater Domain, which has historically been less prospective for uranium mineralization.

“This strong initial intercept in PLN25-205 is the perfect analog to the approach of the technical team at F3 Uranium; to think out of the box and be persistent. After we finish drilling this hole, we plan to continue drilling on section to improve our understanding of the controls on the mineralization, before moving laterally along strike, which is open in both directions,” commented Sam Hartmann, VP of Exploration for F3.

F3 Uranium last traded at $0.19 on the TSX Venture.
