Hercules Metals Hits 138 Metres Of 1.01% Copper Equivalent

Hercules Metals (TSXV: BIG) continues to intersect long intervals of copper mineralization at its Hercules property in Western Idaho. The firm this morning released its latest assay results, which come from two drill holes.

Highlights from the results include:

  • HER-24-19: 149.38 metres of 0.62% copper, 11 g/t silver, 116 ppm molybdenum (0.78% copper equivalent) from a depth of 286.51 metres
    • Including 42.68 metres of 0.92% copper, 30 g/t silver, 96 ppm molybdenum (1.22% copper equivalent) from a depth of 291.08 metres
  • HER-24-20: 300.23 metres of 0.55% copper, 4 g/t silver, 182 ppm molybdenum (0.70% copper equivalent) from a depth of 102.11 metres
    • 137.59 metres of 0.85% copper equivalent, 5 g/t silver, 172 ppm molybdenum (1.01% copper equivalent) from a depth of 177.88 metres

HER-24-20 is said to be a 330 metre step out that intersected porphyry mineralization at a true depth of 70 metres below surface, which represents the shallowest porphyry mineralization encountered on the property to date. HER-24-19 meanwhile was a 530 metre step out conducted to the southwest of HER-24-20, with the two holes expanding the system to the south and southeast.

“The Eastern Block Zone remains one of the best undrilled targets at the Hercules Property. So far, our efforts have focused on the initial discovery area, while gradually moving toward the large soil anomaly first identified in 2022. [..] The Company is now considering the largest geophysical survey ever conducted at the Hercules Property. Such a survey could involve working with a co-operative group of neighbouring companies, which would increase the overall coverage and depth of penetration,” commented Chris Paul, CEO of Hercules.

Hercules Metals last traded at $0.59 on the TSX Venture.
