Santacruz Silver Produces 4.6 Million Silver Equivalent Ounces In Q3
Santacruz Silver Mining (TSXV: SCZ) this morning reported production results for the third quarter of 2024. The company managed to produce a combined 4.6 million silver equivalent ounces.
Production declined 3.6% from the second quarter, which saw 4.8 million silver equivalent ounces produced. Third quarter production, when broken down, consisted of 1.7 ounces of silver, 23,143 tonnes of zinc, 3,027 tonnes of lead and 270 tonnes of copper.
“During Q3 2024, Santacruz continued to demonstrate steady operational performance, processing 491,260 tonnes of ore, yielding 4,644,013 silver equivalent ounces. Notably, silver production increased by 2% compared to Q2 2024, reaching 1,703,388 ounces. [..] We expect these production levels to provide a strong foundation for the remainder of the year,” commented Arturo Prestamo, CEO of Santacruz.
