The Zellers nostalgia is now closer than ever! The discount retailer unveiled a series of new locations planned to be built within Hudson Bay stores across Canada, as well as an e-commerce website.
The Bay announced 25 Zellers locations, which it calls “store experiences” that will consist of “design-led products across home decor, toys, baby, apparel and pets.” Millennial shoppers looking to reminisce of the old red and white retail journey can find between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet of “low prices day in, day out” within Hudsons Bay flagship department stores in communities across seven provinces.
Although the exact opening date of the discount stores remains unknown, Zellers promises to greet Canadians with a “playful shopping experience” simultaneously as the e-commerce website goes online. However, for those wondering, there still hasn’t been word on a comeback of the infamous Zellers Restaurant.
