Aya Gold & Silver Hits 1,383 g/t Silver Over 13.5 Metres At Zgrounder
Aya Gold & Silver (TSX: AYA) this morning reported drill results from its ongoing exploration program. The program is focused at the firms flagship Zgrounder Silver Mine, located within Morocco, where the company is looking to expand its known resources.

A total of thirty drill holes were reported on this morning, with results coming from a combination of both surface and underground drilling. Eight holes occurred at surface, while the remainder were underground.
Highlights from the assays include:
- ZG-SF-21-67: 1,383 g/t silver over 13.5 metres
- ZG-21-51: 1,615 g/t silver over 8.5 metres
- ZG-21-50: 2,446 g/t silver over 4.0 metres, 5,778 g/t silver over 2.0 metres
- ZG-21-43: 2,311 g/t silver over 2.0 metres
The highlight result from drill hole ZG-SF-21-67 is significant for the company, in that it comes from a previously untested region below the current mining operation. Mineralization was encountered below the 1,975 level, meaning there is high grade continuity of mineralization and significant room for resource expansion.
Aya Gold & Silver last traded at $8.97 on the TSX.
