Blackrock Silver Hits 714 g/t Silver Equivalent Over 4.7 Metres Under Infill Drill Program
Blackrock Silver (TSXV: BRC) has encountered high grade silver and gold at its Tonopah West project in Nevada. The mineralization was intersected as part of a drill program focused on converting inferred resources to measured and indicated, in support of the mine plan laid out by a PEA released in September for the project.
Highlights from the results include:
- TXC24-115: 3.96 g/t gold and 375 g/t silver (659 g/t silver equivalent) over 3.96 metres from a depth of 332.54 metres
- Including 5.06 g/t gold and 625 g/t silver (1,081 g/t silver equivalent) over 1.37 metres
- TXC24-117: 7.13 g/t gold and 1,141 g/t silver (1,783 g/t silver equivalent) over 2.01 metres from a depth of 261.2 metres from a depth of 261.21 metres
- TXC24-119: 3.72 g/t gold and 379 g/t silver (714 g/t silver equivalent) over 4.69 from a depth of 370.42 metres
- Including 7.76 g/t gold and 770.5 g/t silver (1,468.8 g/t silver equivalent) over 1.22 metres
- TXC24-122: 3.02 g/t gold and 292 g/t silver (563 g/t silver equivalent) over 5.21 metres from a depth of 337.11 metres
- Including 18.08 g/t gold and 1,834 g/t silver (3,462 g/t silver equivalent) over 0.73 metres
Drilling to date under the conversion program is said to have demonstrated that the Merten-Bermuda bein group is exceeding expectations, and confirming that high grade silver and gold connects across significant lengths. As of December 2024, 38 drill holes of a planned 62 have been completed under the conversion program, with assays outstanding for sixteen.

The program is expected to lead to an updated mineral resource estimate in the third quarter of this year.
