CR Capital Releases Glenrock Property July 2020 Exploration Results

CR Capital Corp (TSXV: CIT) this morning announced the results from its July 2020 surface rock and soil sampling program at its Glenrock Gold Property, located North of Salt Ste. Marie, Ontario. Highlights from composite grab samples taken include values of up to 3.29 g/t gold, 0.7 g/t silver, 0.21% copper, and 94 ppm cobalt.

Work from the July 2020 program was focused on the Glenrock West gold showing, where 24 rock samples were taken, along with 70 soil samples. Furthermore, CR Capital was able to collect 47 previously unsplit core samples from three historic holes completed in 1988 for analysis.

Soil sampling conducted on the property delinate a 100 metre wide by 200 metre long elongated trend on the property, with 15 samples identifying gold values between 0.001 g/t and 1.72 g/t, with an average showing of 0.18 g/t gold. The anomaly remains open along strike in both directions, with additional soil and rock sampling said to be warranted.

Sampling from the historic cores collected meanwhile returned values of up to 0.99 g/t gold over 0.8 metres of unsplit core, widening the intersections of two historical holes located east and west of the Glenrock West zone. Hole 475-88-16 now averages 17.0 metres of 0.45 g/t gold, beginning at a depth of 8 metres, while hole 475-88-24 now averages 3.4 metres of 0.77 g/t gold beginning at 28 metres downhole. These results however are historical in nature.

The results from exploration conducted at Glenrock between 2018 and 2020 have extended the gold enriched zone to 300 metres on an east-west strike, while remaining open for additional exploration, while multiple other historical gold prospects documented on the property have yet to be subjected to modern gold exploration. The results from exploration on the property however has lead to CR Capital filing an application with the Ontario government to obtain a new exploration permit to enable diamond drilling to occur on site at multiple new high priority targets.

CR Capital last traded at $0.19 on the TSX Venture.
