SKRR Exploration Begins 2020 Field Program At Leland Gold Property

SKRR Exploration (TSXV: SKRR) has finally received the required permits to proceed with its planned 2020 fieldwork program at its Leland gold property, with fieldwork having already commenced. The program will see detail prospecting and mapping, along with channel sampling, infill soil sampling, and ground truthing of electromagnetic anomalies.

The permit for the property specifically allows for diamond drilling to occur on site, along with enabling a UTV trail to be constructed to increase site access. Terralogic Exploration Services have been contracted to perform the 2020 program.

SKRR’s Leland property currently is held via an option to acquire 75% of the project from that of Taiga Gold (CSE: TGC). Located 23 kilometres southwest of the Seabee Gold Operation, the property is located in the currently most significant gold producing region of the Trans Hudson Corridor in Saskatchewan. The property is said to contain similar geology and shear zone style of gold mineralization.

Fieldwork conducted on the property in 2019 by Taiga resulted in mineralization being found, with results grading up to 5.4 g/t gold over 0.65 within a channel sample from the Irving Trench. Five new mineralizaed occurrences were also found, which graded up to 3.5 g/t gold. The 2020 field program is expected to build upon these results, with the data being utilized to identify drill targets for the oncoming season.

SKRR Exploration last traded at $0.41 on the TSX Venture.
