Near surface mineralization was also intersected in five holes at the Siskin zone, where intersections include 0.42 g/t gold over 17.87 metres at a depth of just 3.05 metres.

The 2020 drill program at Olson as a whole consisted of 18 holes that were drilled over 2,981 metres, with the company focusing on seven separate targets. A number of highlighted points from the company include:

  • OL20006: 0.53 g/t gold over 5.46 metres at a depth of 3.05 metres at the Point Zone.
  • OL20007: 1.31 g/t gold over 9.44 metres at Tuscan
  • OL20010: 0.42 g/t gold over 17.87 metres at Siskin
  • OL20014: 0.85 g/t gold over 2.95 metres and 1.16 g/t gold over 2.17 metres at Jena
  • OL20017: 1.19 g/t gold over 19.94 metres at Olson
  • OL20018: 0.77 g/t gold over 6.46 metres at Michael’s Lake

“Based on the very encouraging results from the first 18 holes drilled on the Olson Property, we are conducting a follow-up Phase 2 drill program on the Olson Project. Initial results obtained to date on the Olson project are extremely encouraging. Assays from the Phase 1 program, have confirmed the presence of wide-spread gold at numerous target areas of the property including high grade gold mineralization within broadly highly anomalous mineralized intervals. In particular results returned at the Olson and Point areas show strong potential and warrant follow-up in a Phase 2 drill program, presently underway.”
