Michael is a venture capitalist, financial educator, and writer who is best-known in the cannabis industry for his explainer articles that have helped investors better navigate the financial statements of publicly traded cannabis companies. In addition, Michael also lectures at a number of universities on financial reporting in the cannabis industry, and is a co-author of the world’s first cannabis accounting business case that was published by the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School. He also happens to rock the Twitter world with his tweets related to financial reporting under the handle @Porters6thForce.
