Bitfarms Ltd. (TSXV: BITF) announced this morning that the company has exceeded a 2 EH/s hashrate. This comes after the firm received and installed 1,500 Bitmain S19j Pro miners in November.
“Bitfarms reached the important milestone of 2 EH/s in a mere eight months compared to the 3 years and 10 months that it took us to attain 1 EH/s,” said Bitfarms CEO Emiliano Grodzki.
The crypto firm is also set to receive the en-route deliveries of 2,701 Bitmain S19j Pro miners and 400 MicroBT M30S miners to also be installed in November. Also, 48,000 MicroBT miners are scheduled for delivery in 2022.
The company also recently announced that it has begun construction of a new 210-megawatt facility located in Argentina.
Bitfarms Ltd. last traded at $10.73 on the TSX Venture.
