Elon Musk Sells Additional $687.3 Million In Tesla Stock From Trust On Thursday

Evidently, Elon Musk is looking to soak up every last bit of liquidity available in Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) this week. The popular CEO this morning filed two Form 4’s with the SEC, revealing he again sold a portion of his stake in the company on Thursday, after having revealed $4.98 billion in sales on Wednesday evening.

The latest round of selling was again conducted through his trust, suggesting that much more selling remains yet due to his expiring options. In total, 639,737 shares of Tesla were sold by Musk yesterday, between a price range of $1,056.32 to $1,104.01.

Musk raked in gross proceeds of $687.3 million in the process, the second smallest day this week in terms of gross proceeds, behind only Wednesday which saw him raise proceeds of $527.3 million.

As of today, Musk has now sold 5.2 million shares of Tesla this week, for gross proceeds of $5.67 billion.

Tesla last traded at $1,063.51 on the Nasdaq, and is currently up in pre-market trading despite the additional sales by Musk.
