Elon Musk Pledges $45 Million Monthly to Pro-Trump Super PAC
X owner Elon Musk (who’s back on top of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index) has reportedly pledged to donate $45 million monthly to a new Super PAC supporting Donald Trump’s campaign. This commitment, which was first reported by The Wall Street Journal, comes after Musk’s recent endorsement of Trump following an assassination attempt on the former president.
The Super PAC, named America PAC, will focus on voter outreach in swing states, emphasizing voter registration, early voting, and mail-in ballots. The organization has already hired hundreds of employees and begun its efforts to bolster Trump’s election bid.

Musk’s support marks a departure from his previous stance of non-involvement in the 2024 election. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO, with an estimated net worth of $252 billion, is now poised to become one of the largest donors in the campaign.
Other notable backers of America PAC include the Winklevoss twins, tech entrepreneur Joe Lonsdale, and former ambassador Kelly Craft and her husband. The PAC, established in May and registered in Texas, raised $8.75 million in the second quarter of this year.
Trump was officially nominated as the Republican Party’s candidate on Monday. Shortly after, he announced his selection of Senator JD Vance as his running mate.
