Aya Gold & Silver Hits 3,353 g/t Silver Over 7.5 Metres At Zgrounder
Aya Gold & Silver (TSX: AYA) continues to expand known mineralization at its flagship Zgrounder Silver Mine, which is located in Morocco. The company this morning reported further results from its 2021 drill program at the mine.
Collectively, the results released this morning included 25 diamond drill holes. Within those 25, 13 of the holes come from surface while 12 come from underground holes.
Highlights of the results include:
- DZG-SF-21-02: 3,353 g/t silver over 7.5 metres at the 2,030 level
- DZG-SF-21-02bis: 1,995 g/t silver over 2.0 metres, 1,329 g/t silver over 12.5 metres
- DZG-21-18: 1,705 g/t silver over 5.5 metres
The results released this morning reportedly provide the potential for the current deposit to be extended laterally. Results released are expected to be followed up by the company with further drilling.
