Filo Corp Extends Deposit To Total Length Of 5.5 Kilometres
Filo Corp (TSX: FIL) is reporting this morning that it has expanded the length of its deposit at the Filo del Sol project to a length of over 5.5 kilometres, while the deposit still remains open.
The extension of the deposit follows the receipt of further drill results conducted at the project, which were part of a widely-spaced program geared towards finding the limits of the deposit. Highlights from the results include:
- FSDH103: 0.86% copper equivalent over 1,260 metres, from a depth of 296 metres, including 1.04% copper equivalent over 514 metres
- FSDH108: 0.50% copper equivalent over 955.2 metres from a depth of 216.8 metres, including 0.63% copper equivalent over 624 metres
Hole FSDH108 is said to have expanded the Bonita Zone by 400 metres to the north, thereby expanding the total deposit at the project to a total length of at least 5.5 kilometres.

“Hole 108 is one of the most significant holes drilled this year, as it extends the entire Filo mineralized trend further north and intersected mineralization much shallower than previous Bonita holes to the south. The Filo trend is now established at a minimum of 5.5km of continuous mineralization along its northeasterly-trending axis and recent holes on Section 8800N have established a minimum east-west width of 1.2km in that part of the deposit,” commented Jamie Beck, CEO of Filo.
Bonita is said to remain open in all directions, while the deposit as a whole remains open in “several” directions. Current drilling is focused on further defining this region of the deposit, with a further nine holes focused on this region currently under way and two having already been completed, pending assays.
Filo Corp last traded at $24.69 on the TSX.
